Privacy Information

Who we are

Leading Lights is an AI governance consultancy for Irish schools. This site is operated by Christopher Dunn (trading as Leading Lights). For data protection purposes, Christopher Dunn is the data controller. You can contact us at [email protected].

What we collect

When you use the contact form on this site, we collect your name, email address, school or organisation name, your area of interest, and the content of your message. We use this to respond to your enquiry.

That is the only personal data this site collects. There are no user accounts, no newsletter signups, and no tracking cookies.

Lawful basis

We process contact form submissions on the basis of legitimate interests: responding to an enquiry you have initiated. You can object to this at any time by contacting us directly.

Who processes your data

Three services are involved in operating this site:

  • Tally BV processes contact form submissions on our behalf. Tally is based in Belgium and stores all form data within the European Union. A Data Processing Agreement is in place.
  • Cloudflare provides hosting, email routing, and web analytics. Cloudflare's analytics system is cookieless and does not collect personally identifiable information.
  • Google (Gmail) receives emails forwarded from our contact address.

We do not sell your data or share it with any other third parties.

How long we keep it

If an enquiry leads to an engagement, we retain related correspondence for the duration of that relationship and for two years after it ends. If no engagement follows, we delete the message within 12 months.

Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. You can also object to processing and request that we restrict it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected].

If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.

Cookies

This site does not use cookies.
